Birgit Virnich, a long-time TV and radio correspondent in Africa, will read from her book of reportage "Ein Fahrrad für die Flußgötter. Reportagen aus Afrika" ("A bicycle for the river gods. Reportages from Africa"), published by A1 Verlag, München 2010. The Senegalese griot Kandara Diabaté will comment her texts singing and playing his Kora.
