On 10 November from 8-10 pm, you will have the opportunity to meet Geir Angell Øygarden and some of Stavanger's guest writers in a unique setting, the old Tungenes Lighthouse in nearby Randaberg, Norway. The writers Mansur Rajih, Manal Al-Sheikh, and Otbah Fathallah will present their poetry and original works alongside musician Johan Egdeveit. ICORN's newest guest writer in Fanø, Denmark, Noufel Bouzeboudja, will also attend.

Geir Angell Øygarden will present his latest book, Baghdad Indigo, that gives an inside perspective on the Iraq War. The book is the first release from Pelikanen Forlag ("Pelican Publishers"), which was founded by Karl Ove Knausgård, Yngve Knausgård, Asbjørn Jensen and Geir Moe.

The event is a collaboration between Randaberg Kommune, United Nations Association, Sølvberget, Shahrazad - Stories for life and Stavanger City of Refuge.
