This Saturday, Tribunal 12 will hold Europe responsible for its continual violations of human rights and the mistreatment of refugees, migrants and asylum seekers.

The Nobel Prize-winning writer Elfriede Jelinek has given her support to the tribunal with the following statement:

Greeting to Tribunal 12

It is an honour for me to support your important Tribunal and assure you of my solidarity, if only through a short greeting. After the horrific attack by a Norwegian fanatic and many smaller crimes and acts of violence against so-called “foreigners” who are supposedly “not like us”, even in other countries, it is especially important to point out that “foreignness” should not be seen as something threatening, coming from the outside, but rather as an enrichment of ourselves.

Tribunal 12 – not just a Stockholm event

As the trial against Europe’s violations of human rights takes place in Stockholm 12th May 2012, a number of events will be held in cities both in and outside Sweden simultaneously.
