"The Balkans & Europe" in Brussels

In 2009 deBuren and Passa Porta launched the first edition of The Balkans and Europe, a series of cultural debates hosted by the Serbian journalist Dejan Anastasijevic (Time). Together with writers from the former Yugoslavia, Anastasijevic looks into several aspects of the European and Balkan culture.

Constitution in Verse Nominated for Award!

The European Constitution in Verse, written by over fifty European and non-European poets and coordinated by the Brussels Poetry Collective, has been nominated for the 3rd Europe Book Prize!

Pudding, tulips and jihad

On December 8, Lucas Catherine will be discussing his book Rijstpap, Tulpen en Jihad (Pudding, Tulips and Jihad) at Passa Porta house of literature. Rijstpap, Tulpen en Jihad is a vibrant book about the Arab and Turkish influence on the European history.

"The Balkans and Europe" at Passa Porta in Brussels

On thursday, November 19, at 20.00, Dejan Anastasijevic will be hosting ‘The Balkans and Europe’, a meeting that is part of a series organized by deBuren and Passa Porta. Anastasijevic is a Serbian investigative journalist and publicist. Persecuted by the Belgradian authorities, he and his family were forced to flee their country.
