Dejan Anastasijevic is a Serbian investigative journalist and publicist. Persecuted by the Belgradian authorities, he and his family were forced to flee their country. Anastasijevic currently lives in Brussels as an ICORN guest writer. He is the first ICORN resident of the Passa Porta house of literature.

Anastasijevic will be hosting ‘The Balkans and Europe’, a series of meetings organized by deBuren and Passa Porta. During the debates, writers from former Yugoslavia and the Low Countries look into stereotypical images of Europe and the Balkans. Guest speakers for this second edition are the prize winning, Serbian author Vladimir Arsenijević and the internationally acclaimed ‘post-Yugoslav’ writer, Dubravka Ugresic.
