Norwegian writer Hans Petter Blad describes the life of a fictitious Chilean exiled writer living in Oslo in his novel Det Oseaniske. He meets the, in no way fictitious Chilean-Norwegian writer Pedro Carmona-Alvarez, who, in his novel Rust, gives us tales of growing up in a Norwegian smalltown, but also perspectives on the violent political history of Latin America. In addittion to talking about their own books, they will be discussing their own favorite Latin American writers.
