Brought out his first record at 16. Left Turkey and studied journalism in East Germany. Worked for many years in the Belgian mines. Lutfu Gultekin is what you'd call a socially committed singer songwriter. Sometimes he refers back to poems from figures such as Nazim Hikmet. Rebellion, hope and nostalgia are constants in his work. He will be accompanied by his two sons, Emre and Munzur.
