ICORN Guest Writers invited to Bjørnsonfestivalen

Bjørnsonfestivalen was established in 1992, as the first literature festival of Norway. Today, Bjørnsonfestivalen is Norway's biggest international literature festival, and ICORN Writers Nada Yousif, Faraj Bayrakdar and Gilles Dossou-Gouin have been invited to a literary event hosted by the Norwegian Red Cross.

 

In the event Exiled voices, the General Secretary of the Norwegian Red Cross, Børge Brende, will talk about the work the Red Cross does for integration of immigrants. The director of Norwegian PEN, Anders Heger, will talks about PEN’s work with the Cities of Refuge.Nada Yousif (from Iraq), Gilles Dossou-Gouin (from Benin) og Faraj Bayrakdar (from Syria) will be reading.
