Brussels
Brussels may be the capital of Belgium and even of Europe, but it is above all the uncrowned capital of languages. The many languages spoken in Brussels live alongside and in between one another in an almost natural way, without leading to any Babel-like chaos. Consequently, Brussels is the perfect location for an international and multilingual literature centre such as Passa Porta.
Stockholm

The capital of Sweden is centrally situated in Northern Europe. The city is built on 14 islands, where the lake Mälaren opens up into the Baltic Sea. Its history goes back as far as to the Thirteen Century - in 2002 Stockholm celebrated its 750th anniversary.
