PEN is a worldwide authors' association that stands up for free speech and opposes any form of censorship. In this programme, Flemish PEN authors read from work by fellow writers from abroad. And Faraj Bayrakdar (Syria) and Chenjerai Hove read from their own work. They have had personal experience of what it means to be pursued for letting your voice be heard.
